Revenue Retriever uses rules to identify when products are missing from customer invoices. For example, if the customer’s bill includes an anaesthetic, then it will check if there is also a charge for hospitalisation.
Note: In most cases it is better to start with Revenue Retriever's smart rules. Revenue Retriever will propose a series of rules, based on its analysis of your historic billing data, which you can review and select (more details of using smart rules). This article is for the less usual situation where you need to create your own rules.
To add a rule manually:
- Log in to the Revenue Retriever website.
- Click the New button. The rule editor will open with an empty record.
- Enter the parameters for the rule, including its name, the prompt that vets see in Provet Cloud, etc.
Read about setting the parameters of the rule.
- Add the product(s) and/or service(s) that will trigger the rule, and those which it will check for and, if appropriate, add to the customer's bill.
Read about adding products and services to a rule.
- Click the Save button at the top of the screen.
If necessary you can repeat the process to add more new rules.
